Bilawal Warns of Political Fallout Over AJK Election Mandate

PPP chairman rallies crowds ahead of phase two, vows resistance to manipulation and urges rivals into the fold rather than the boycott.

The chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, addressed a public rally at Muzaffarabad ahead of the second phase of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) elections. He warned that the election mandate could lead to national political trouble for the federal government if results were manipulated. Bilawal insisted that any attempt at manipulation of the elections would face his party's firm retaliation and that they were ready to fight for the people's mandate.
